EN The field of soft robotics is booming. The ability of these machines to manipulate objects with delicacy is opening up new and unexplored possibilities. With this first robot, Helix aims to distribute its product to universities and laboratories specialising in soft robotics. Subsequently, Helix's ambition is to bring soft robotics into everyday life, in particular to interact with human beings. Basic assistance tasks for certain groups of people will then be developed.This first FSR-01 version has all the technology embedded in the machine's head. The unit can be detached from its workbench mounting and connected to a wall or ceiling plug-in. The flexible arm is covered with a stretch fabric suitable for future interaction with human skin.
FR Le domaine de la soft robotique est en plein essor. La faculté de ces machines à manipuler des objets avec délicatesse ouvre de nouvelles possiblités encore inexplorées. Avec ce premier robot, Helix a pour ambition de diffuser son produit dans les universités et laboratoires spécialisés dans la soft robotique. Par la suite, Helix a l'ambition d'amener cette technologie dans la vie quotidienne notamment pour interagir avec l'être humain. Des tâches basiques d'asssistance à certains groupes de personnes seront alors développées.Cette première version FSR-01 possède toute la technologie embarquée dans la “tête” de la machine. Cette dernière peut se détacher de son support d'établi pour venir se connecter sur un plug-in mural ou au plafond. Le bras souple est habillé d'un tissu élastique répondant déjà à une future interaction avec la peau humaine.
