EN Following the same approach as for the "Pralet" furniture, the "Bout de bois" coat stand explores the use of wood offcuts produced in sawmills. These offcuts are intended to be shredded for firewood. "Bout de bois" proposes to create a "bypass" in the production chain by redirecting this waste into the world of furniture, while retaining the potential for future use in firewood.
The sculptural stacking of the planks from the bottom makes them easy to use for the whole family.
FR Dans la même approche que pour le mobilier "Pralet", le porte manteau "Bout de bois" explore la valorisation des chutes de bois produites dans les scieries. Ces dernières sont destinées à être déchiquetées pour le bois de chauffage. "Bout de bois" propose de créer un "bypass" dans la chaine de production en détournant ces déchets dans l'univers du mobilier en conservant un potentiel d'utilisation future dans le bois de chauffage.
L'empilement sculptural des planches depuis le bas permet une utilisation aisée pour toute la famille.
